The Associated Construction Company was established on August 4, 1942, by Angelo Giardini. Initially serving as a military defense contractor, the organization undertook the construction of various base facilities for the US Navy and its submarine base located in Groton, CT. In response to the increasing demand for housing, Associated Construction diversified its focus to include multi-residential construction projects and subsequently relocated its operations to Hartford, CT. Presently, the company is under the leadership of President Joseph Jankowski and Vice President Kevin McConnell. Joseph Jankowski’s immersion in the industry commenced in 1984 with the Associated Construction Company. Through his tenure, he gained exposure to intricate technical projects, fostering a profound skill set, wealth of experience, and adept management strategies. Kevin McConnell entered the industry shortly after completing high school, assuming various roles in estimating and project management before transitioning to Director of Pre-construction at Associated Construction. Today, he stands as the Vice President, contributing significantly to the company’s success. Together, Joe and Kevin are dedicated to advancing the esteemed legacy of excellence upheld by the Associated Construction Company.
